Clear terms. No fine-print maze.

These Terms govern Home, a personal home-management application operated by Ishtiaq Ul Haq Syed. By creating an account or using Home, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into these Terms. Provide accurate account information, protect your account and devices, and promptly report suspected unauthorized use. Google sign-in and other third-party connections are also subject to each provider's terms.

Home helps organize a home address, household details, documents, local information, and questions in a private workspace. Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. We may impose reasonable limits to protect users, providers, and the service.

You retain ownership of information and documents you submit ("User Content"). You give Home limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, copy, process, transmit, index, and display User Content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights needed to provide User Content and permit this processing.

You may not:

• Use Home unlawfully or violate another person's rights.
• Upload malicious code or content you are not authorized to process.
• Interfere with, probe, reverse engineer, or bypass service security or usage limits, except where law expressly permits.
• Access another user's data or use automated means that burden the service.
• Use Home to make high-impact decisions about another person without authorization and human review.

Ask Home may send relevant saved facts and document passages to OpenAI, OpenRouter, or another model provider as explained in the Privacy Policy. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading, even when it cites a source. Review the underlying document and exercise independent judgment.

Home and its AI output do not provide legal, financial, insurance, medical, construction, safety, or other professional advice. Do not rely on AI responses for deadlines, payments, notices, emergencies, or other decisions where error could cause harm.

Address suggestions and validation, maps, and local time may use Google Maps Platform. Your use of those features is subject to the then-current Google Maps End User Additional Terms. Google processes information under the Google Privacy Policy.

Local weather forecasts use U.S. National Weather Service data. Forecasts can be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, or inaccurate. Home is not an emergency alert service. For urgent conditions, follow official emergency instructions and weather.gov.

Home depends on third-party authentication, hosting, storage, maps, analytics, and AI services. Their services and content are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Except for User Content and third-party materials, Home and its software, design, branding, and content are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service. They do not transfer ownership or permit use of Home's branding.

You may stop using Home or delete your account in Settings at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, or misuse the service. We will provide notice when reasonably practical. Data handling after deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Home is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and warranties arising from course of dealing. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, preservation of every item, or accuracy of maps, weather, documents, or AI output. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so these exclusions may not apply.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Home and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or use, arising from the service. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

We may update these Terms as Home changes. We will post revised Terms, update the effective date, and provide added notice for material changes when appropriate. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
